The Supervisor of Elections Office in Leon County will have a voter registration booth available at the Springtime Tallahassee Jubilee in Park on Saturday, March 29. The booth will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the event.
Participants will have a chance to try out the new Optical Scan Voting Machines to be used in the elections this fall in Leon County. The booth features a straw ballot and demonstration on how to utilize the newly acquired voting technology.
One of the question is "Do you plan to vote in favor of legalizing marijuana for medical purposes?". The results of the straw ballot poll will be posted on LeonVotes.org and the Supervisor of Elections Facebook page following the event.
