Tallahassee, Florida --
At last night's (Dec. 8) city commission meeting, Major Lewis Johnson provided a briefing on TPD-specific security measures surrounding the 12 official inauguration events planned that will take place in the city of Tallahassee.
During the briefing, Major Johnson inaccurately stated that inauguration planning officials are attempting to secure singer Justin Bieber to perform. Inauguration Officials have confirmed they are not, nor have they ever attempted to secure him.
The Tallahassee Police Department is able to address inquiries regarding TPD-specifics and asks that any questions regarding inaugural planning events be directed to Erin Isaac at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coordination of security between participating agencies is being handled by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Any questions may be directed to Heather Smith at (850)410-7001.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
