This morning, at approximately 2:50AM, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a reported robbery near the intersection of Allen Road and Fulton Road. A 31 year-old male victim contacted the Tallahassee Police Department explaining that he had just left a Tallahassee nightclub and was stopped at the intersection of Allen Road and Fulton Road. While stopped, the victim told officers that a white van struck the rear of his red Monte Carlo.
The victim exited his vehicle to inspect potential damage and was confronted by a suspect brandishing a firearm. The suspect demanded the victim's cash and personal property. The victim complied with the demand and the suspect fled in the white van. According to the victim, he began to chase the white van and an exchange of gunfire ensued. No one was injured during the shooting.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
