[UPDATE] TPD Working Bank Robbery on North Monroe

[UPDATE] 1-27 2:00PM --

TPD Release:

Today, at approximately 12:45PM, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to 1201 North Monroe Street (Wachovia Bank) in reference to a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a suspect entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS (8477). Remember, Crime Stoppers does not want your name, just your information. You could be eligible for a cash reward.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

Black male, 5'7", approximately 20-30 years of age, last seen wearing a blue or dark color jacket, dark pants, and a green or dark colored bucket/fishing style hat.

The Tallahassee Police Department is working a bank robbery located at 1201 North Monroe Street (Wachovia Bank). The robbery occurred at 12:45pm, no one was injured. TPD has not suspect information at this time, but will be making it available shortly.

    Moral hazzard = corrupt politicians allowing banksters to get away with fraud and theft and often pariicipating. Their main target for their MBS fraud Pensions and Muni. governments. Blame the greedy workers when the fund goes broke not the Banksters.

    Gertie, The baldness of a person can be a great identifier, just like the color or length of hair. If the guy had no hair in the crown of his head, but had hair on the sides, the description would help narrow the possible suspects.

    Wow, the bank 2 blocks from TPD isn't even safe. I sure wish cops could do something besides put out a press release with photos of a man in disguise.

    To Chief: He who knows not and knows not that he knows not, is foolish, shun him. Tourism is down, having been replace by bank robberies. Tallahassee leads the state in bank robber safety. The bank robbers are in a last minute rush to get our money before the legislature convenes. Competition is tough.

    The robber didn't steal from honest hard working people he robbed a bank . It is amasing how clueless some people are about the banking industry. It must be a pleasure for the banks under the Federal Reserve to steal from clueless minion.
