Tallahassee, FL-The City of Tallahassee honored Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback William Gay Saturday.
The City presented Gay with a proclamation honoring him for his work in the community.
Gay runs an annual football camp at Rickards High School where he went to school. The camp is free to attend.
Gay says the camp is his way of giving back to his hometown.
"Just let them know that, hey, you can be just like me, whether it's being a doctor, lawyer, football player, it doesn't matter," said Gay.
Gay has run the camp for three years now.
