Tallahassee, FL - Tallahassee police want to know what exactly happened at a home in the Foxcroft neighborhood off of Thomasville Road.
Police said someone phoned in a "medical assist" call to them around 5:52 p.m.
That's when they responded to 2720 Parsons Rest.
"Unfortunately, they found a deceased male in the backyard of this residence," said Dave Northway, PIO for the Tallahassee Police Department.
TPD said right now they're treating this as an unattended death.
"An unattended death means there was no one around to see the death occur and so we have to treat it as if it's a homicide," Northway said.
There's a lot of information still lingering that police have not yet released at this time, including: the name and description of the victim, who called 911 and the cause of death.
Investigators are still searching for clues, talking to neighbors and trying to put the pieces together to find out what happened.
"Our hearts go out to the family members, this is a terrible tragedy and TPD only hopes that we can bring closure to this case as fast as possible," Northway said.
Anyone with more information is asked to call TPD at 850-891-4200. They said they'll release more information to us when it becomes available.
