Tallahassee, FL - At 5:45 this morning (2-4), four units from the Tallahassee Fire Department responded to the report of a commercial building fire in the 400 block of Capital Circle Southwest.
A delivery driver making an after-hours gasoline delivery reported flames inside the convenience store.
On arrival, firefighters encountered flames venting out one of the windows. Firefighters breached the front door and attacked the fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and the building ventilated of smoke.
The fire was determined to have started by a failure of electrical wiring behind some coolers. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Damages were estimated at $100,000.
