The Council of Neighborhood Associations held it's 31st meeting and reception to award several Tallahassee communities.
The red carpet was rolled out to those who found creative ways, like planting gardens, to get the community involved and for making the city a more desirable place to live.
CONA representative, Tiffany Hamilton says, "It's little things that make a big difference, a big impact within the neighborhood and the city of Tallahassee. That's what the city of Tallahassee is known for. It's about neighborhoods, it's about that type of environment that will make people want to stay here and live here."
In the large category, the Neighborhood of the year award went to Killearn Homes Association. In the small category, the award went to Los Robles Neighborhood Association.
