TallyTIES, a network- volunteer organization, hosted a formal gala at the Mary Brogan Museum where guests had the chance to bid on and win celebrity memorabilia

The organization allows professionals in Tallahassee to pull their resources together and make a difference- this time toward the Guardian ad Litem program.

One attendee says being a child advocate is rewarding, challenging and heart breaking- but well worth it.

Guardian Volunteer Greg Nichols says, "It's very fulfilling, would be the best way to describe it. These children don't have any representation in court and a lot of times they are from very poor families."
Nichols says they had a goal of $20,000 for Florida's children- but he thinks they may have surpassed it.
