Tallahassee Film Festival Announces New Digi-Explorer Workshop

Tallahassee, FL –

As part of its commitment to education, the Tallahassee Film Festival is introducing a new workshop, Digi-Explorers, designed specifically for middle school students. This one-day, hands-on workshop includes a combination of introductory digital video production along with a competition.

It teaches the basics of production as students collaborate on one-minute digital video projects. Topics include story structure, writing, direction, camera operation, sound and editing. Selected winners will receive awards and will be recognized on the TFF website –www.tallahasseefilmfestival.com.

What: Digi-Explorers Workshop DE101 – “Script to Screen”

When: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 9AM to 4PM

Where: TCC

Who: Middle school students, Leon and surrounding counties

Cost: $25 (includes materials and lunch) Limited scholarships available, contact below

Application Deadline, Friday, February 25, 2011. Advanced registration is required; participation is limited.
