A woman's quest for more curves cost her her life. Now a Florida man is under arrest and accused of giving the fatal injections.

Shatarka Nuby died in Tallahassee's federal prison this spring.

Broward County Deputies say a cut rate butt lift at the hands of an unlicensed nurse is to blame.

Deputies say he's a transvestite who goes by the name 'Duchess' and now Oneal Morris is in the Broward County jail charged with manslaughter and practiciing medicine without a license.

"He deserves it. I hope he feels as much pain as my cousin did."

Deputies say Shatarka Nuby paid him hundreds of dollars for a series of injections that she thought would give her a bigger, better backside.

Deputies say it wound up killing her.

Deputies say Morris injected things like Fix a Flat and Silicone and then tried to seal the injection sites with Super Glue.

"I was really devastated to find out she would do something like that to anyone."

Shatarka Nuby was doing time for fraud at Tallahassee's federal prison when she died. A medical examiner found she died from "massive systemic silicone migration" from cosemetic silicone injections.

Nuby reportedly wrote a letter to Florida's Department of Health before she died.

The DOH won't release that letter, but it did help to investigate Morris. It urges everyone to make sure to see only licensed doctors and nurses.

"We would urge all consumers to check out our web site at flheathsource.com prior to seeing any healthcare practitioner," says Susan Love with the DOH Bureau of Enforcement. "The web site will tell you if the person is licensed, if the license is active and current and also if there's been any disciplinary action taken against the practitioner."

Deputies say Morris would show up at Nuby's Tamarac home in scrubs and a stethescope and her aunt says Morris told her he was using silicone from Home Depot.

"I think that it's actually sad that it's taken this long for something like this to come to the light because I'm sure many other people have died that were probably not even aware that this has happened," said Roberto Dias of Tallahassee. He used to live in Miami and said he thinks these cut rate procedures are more common than most people realize. "In Miami, it's like in New York, you can go and actually say I got money, I need this done and you can find someone to do something for you. It's just how it's done down there."

Broward County deputies say Morris has more victims.

A local plastic surgeon called the story "outrageous" and says the victims are most likely those who want something done but discover it's way beyond their budget.

Dr. Ben Kirbo says fat injections to boost the buttocks can cost between $1500 and $3000.

Kirbo says making sure a doctor is licensed is a must and to be sure you are getting treated by a doctor that is properly trained and certified, he suggests checking to see if they are members of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.

Tallahassee, Florida - July 27, 2012 - Noon -

A woman's quest for a curvier back side may have cost her her life.
The woman died in Tallahassee this spring and now a man in South Florida is charged with manslaughter in her death.

Shatarka Nuby died at FCI back in March 2012 where she was doing time for fraud. But the medical examiner blamed her death on complications from a series of silicone injections.

O'Neal Morris is under arrest in Broward County. He's accused of practicing medicine without a license and manslaughter in Nuby's death. The Broward County Sheriff's Office says Morris injected bathroom caulk, super glue, fix-a-flat into Nuby and other women seeking cosmetic butt enhancements. Deputies say Morris would then use super glue and cotton balls to seal the injection site.

Morris is now in being held on a 150 thousand dollar bond.
