Madison, FL - Shortly after 4:00 PM on Friday, November 26, 2010, two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 90 East between Madison and Lee, Florida.

One occupant of each vehicle was transported to area hospitals. Both trucks appear to be a total loss.

Madison County Sheriff's Office, Madison Fire Department, Madison County EMS, Florida FWC, and the Florida Highway Patrol worked together at the scene to rescue the injured and manage the traffic flow on the blocked highway.

WCTV has included pictures of the accident scene.

Tom if only you knew dude. hydroplaning can be caused in alot of ways. how do you know the persons tires on the car were not good. i work for a tire company and we see it all the time. how do you know that there wasnt a big hole in the road and the person hit it and the car went into the other?? you dont. you need to watch what you say and learn that its always not that one persons fault!!!

I'm sure Tom has driven too fast at times. but the difference is that he still controlled his vehicle. If you hydroplane, it is obvious you are driving too fast for road conditions.

So TOM you have never drove fast, you are saying you have never went over the speed limit, grow up TOM from time to time everyone has went over the speed limit do not tell me you haven't that would be a big Lie. As for everyone else that wants to open their mouths about these accidents that has happen, the road conditions was a factor as you see on the road it is wet look at the picture to your top right. Stop making rude comments about theses people you don't even know it is really poor taste. I know your mothers raised you better then this.

I think you are all idiots... No one cares what you people think about what happened. They should remove the comments section from the website so you stupid people can find something constructive to do...

IF your truck hydroplanes then YOU ARE DRIVING TOO FAST, AND IT IS YOUR FAULT

people, u make yourself look stupid. i agree it's nobody's business but people are writing as if they've never been in a wreck or accident before. seriously check yourself before you go accusing who is at fault or what happened. hopefully one day you won't become the dummy of an accident and then nobody cares about whether or not you're ok; they just want to know what your part was in causing it. i agree also that getting upset by words is just stupid, i'm not upset but i think it should be put out there how judgmental and cruel the people in our world have become. i hope the people who were hurt come out of this ok and you will be in my prayers.

I've said this before. You can't get upset when someone posts on this or any other comments board. Most people are speaking their mind at the time, and most do not have all the facts so any comments they make are ignorant if any factual data. If you understand this, then getting upset about the comments shows a lack of intelligence.

If your vehicle hydroplanes, maybe you're driving too fast for road and weather conditions. This is why most people slow down when roads are wet. You still have to control your vehicle at all times - even when it hydroplanes.

The driver of the black truck hidroplaned and the red truck hit her... It was no ones direct fault and i agree that people should not comment negatively without knowing the facts. The driver of the black truck was my best friend. Now leave the blam for someone that is actually at fault.

Well I can tell u he is pretty upset. And the way I see it is noone needs to make any kind of smart comments about it without knowing who they are are what happened. I dont even think that things like this should be put on here or the TV without the person who is involed agrees. There were no wrong doings or deaths. It was just a freak accident so there for no reason that the people need to have to keep living it, seeing it, or hearing that its all over the news, internet, or papers.
