I saw this accident today. It happened around 12:45 or so. It wasn't that bad and both men jumped out of their trucks. One was a County School van and the other was a City Vac truck. I think speed was involved.

I am the grandmother of the 10 year old girl that was killed in the accident on Thanksgiving weekend November 2008. My heart goes out to the mother of this child, to lose your child is the moste devasting thing you could ever go through I had to watch my daughter go through this. For two years my family has suffered every day and finally going to trail this past week. Something has to seriously be done about drunk driving individuals are getting away with having numerous DUI's and allowed to get right back out on the road with the possiblity to kill an innocent victim. There has to be a harsh crack down on these individuals who continue to skate by with just a slap on the wrist. I don't want the same results to happen to this young lady as it has happen to my family. The person in our case only got 10 years and this was not his first offense in getting a DUI, the legal system needs to step up and beter way of handling this problem. Get the DUI's off the street like the drugs.
