Tallahassee has made it way to the Grammy’s. 17-year old Travia Gallon is one of thirty students selected nationwide to be accepted into a week long summer Grammy camp in Brooklyn, New York. Gallon will be concentrating on audio engineering while she is there.
She is raising money to help pay for her travel expenses to and from the camp but in a slightly different way. Gallon is offering lessons to little children and beginners.
"When I first found out I was accepted, I was speechless, I really wanted to go because I knew I would learn a lot of valuable things and, it’s just an experience that you know being a musician, it would be priceless,” Said Gallon.
Gallon is trying to raise $2,500 before August. If you would like to donate or listen to some of Gallon’s music you can visit This Site.
