Two men wounded in a north Florida shooting spree have been released from a hospital.

Two other men shot by Clifford Miller Jr. remained hospitalized
Wednesday, Oct. 6 in fair condition, and a fifth was in serious condition.

Police say 24-year-old Miller killed his father before going on
a rampage Monday in Gainesville. It wasn't clear what triggered the
shootings, but police say Miller targeted his victims before
killing himself.

Miller had a lengthy criminal history.

According to documents filed Thursday in Alachua County court,
Miller had not been complying with the terms of his release after
an April traffic violation. A court officer reported that Miller
had not stayed in contact with his father, a pretrial release
officer or a therapist.
