Tallahassee, FL - The United Way of the Big Bend has reached the final goals setting phase for 2014. Today they held a summit at the FSU Turnbull Center and more than 100 people came out. The three main topics that were discussed were Income/Family Stability, Education and Health. United Way of the Big Bend said their focused on improving the quality of life for folks here in 2014. "Some fabulous partnerships that people are thinking about, really out of the box innovative, and strategies. So I think this morning is going to give us a great chart to bring back to our board," said Heather Mitchell, President of United Way of the Big Bend.
From the topics discussed today United Way of the Big Bend said a Transformation Report will be developed for the board to review.
