11:20pm Report By Amy Long

Parents and neighbors say the arrests added to the already spooky weekend, but more than that - they say the fact that one of the men was out before Halloween was just plain scary.

Wakulla County Sheriff's Deputies did a little trick-or-treating of their own, obtaining 4 search warrants, one for 58-year-old John Robert's home off Summerwind Circle in Crawfordville who was arrested on Friday October 29th - charged with possession of Child Pornography. And that arrest has neighbors spooked.

James Fricchione says he already watches his daughter walk to and from her bus stop- but the arrest makes him rethink those 50-75 yards.
"Yea- it makes me real concerned, especially living close to here. People wander through these woods all the time and walking down the road. Yea, I'm very concerned, especially with a teenage daughter."

In searching for 129 Summerwind Circle, we found Robert's already home posting 7,500 dollars bail on Saturday.

Betty Money has 9 kids and lives just 2 doors down from Roberts. "We don't celebrate Halloween, so my kids don't go trick-or-treating but there are a lot of children in the neighborhood that do. With him being released at that time, nobody was aware of the situation."

Officers also paid a visit to this home off Guinevere Lane, belonging to 34-Year-old William Johnson. Inside, they found more than 200 images of child pornography and 7 videos.

Johnson is in the Wakulla County Jail on a 70,000 dollar bond.
Charges are also pending on a third arrest, 31-year-old John Cox, who admitted to downloading child porn, but he is currently hospitalized ... though the reason is unknown at this time.

Crawfordville, Florida --

The following in a Wakulla County Sheriff's Office release:

Two men have been arrested and charges are pending against a third
suspect following the execution of four child pornography search
warrants by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 28 and Oct. 29, according to Sheriff David Harvey.

Arrested during Operation Safe Halloween were William Lee Johnson, 34, of 11 Guinevere Lane in Crawfordville, and John Elwin Roberts, 58, of 129 Summerwind Circle South in Crawfordville. Charges are pending
against John Milton Cox, 31, of 326 Lost Creek Lane in Crawfordville.

Roberts was charged with one count of possession of obscene material, photographs of sexual performance by a child. Johnson was charged with seven counts of possessing photographs of a sexual performance of a child.

The suspects became the subject of an undercover investigation that
began in September as detectives discovered the suspect's computer
Internet Protocol addresses with illegal files on file sharing systems.
Investigators viewed the images and positively identified them as child

The Roberts search warrant was served Oct. 29 by WCSO, Florida
Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE) officials. Several computers and hard drives were
located in the home and they were collected as evidence. Someone made an
attempt to delete images but one video was found.

The Johnson search warrant was served Oct. 29 and more than 200 images of child pornography were found. Seven videos were viewed and determined to be child pornography. Additional charges are pending following the forensic analysis of the computer and computer equipment by FDLE.

On Oct. 28, the Cox search warrant was served at 224 Wakulla Beach Road.
Evidence at the scene revealed that the suspect had just moved out of
the home. During an interview with Cox, the suspect admitted to
downloading child pornography on his computer at the address. Charges
are pending against Cox who was hospitalized.

A search warrant was also executed on Oct. 28 in Crawfordville involving
a male suspect and suspicious activity with area juveniles, but no
charges were filed in the investigation.

Johnson is being held in the Wakulla County Jail under a $70,000 bond.
Roberts posted a $7,500 bond and was released Saturday, Oct. 30.

Here is the lesson people, the internet is 100% trackable. You are not surfing anonymously. Web Servers track every request made for pages. And I believe that all inbound and outbound traffic to and from the continental US, is tracked by the NSA. So surfing overseas servers will not keep you from being caught. Perhaps the addiction is one better lost.

fivesix, I wonder why none of them are listed on either the jail roster or in the inmate page of people arrested within the last 6 months?

Maybe we should wait and see what the facts and the proof are, before we hang them from the old oak.I think it is a serious crime, but when I see WCSO, Immigration FDLE and the whole gaggle swooping down for the media, It makes me want to be sure of the facts and proof. Call me a skeptic.

Good job ladies and gentlemen. Hopefully the judicial system will do their job and hand down a very lengthy and painful sentence to these sick and perverted people. To all the other sick folks out there preying on young ones, beware because there are people out there that would gladly put a stop to your activities in a much different manner.
