Wakulla County, FL - A memorial service is set for Saturday to remember a Wakulla High School student who died.
The memorial service for Marquise Hutchinson is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. at River Life Church in Crawfordville.
School Officials say Hutchinson became ill while at school. They believe he was taken to Shands where he later passed away.
His exact cause of death has not been released.
Sources believe it may have been from pneumonia. But health officials have not confirmed that.
Wakulla County, FL - Marquise Hutchinson, a Wakulla High School 9th grader, and JV football player was at school on Monday morning.
When he fell ill and went to the school clinic, the clinic called his parents. Wakulla High Principal Mike Crouch believes Hutchinson went to TMH and then to Shands where he died.
Crouch says he is proud of the students and the counselors who came from other schools. They spent time in the gym yesterday mourning grieving together.
He says that the loss has been especially tough on the fellow JV football players.
