Wakulla County, FL -- November 5, 2011
Proud VETS, families and supporters piled up in downtown Wakulla county this morning. It was all for the 5th annual Veteran's Day Parade and Celebration.
After the parade sifted through, people gathered up at Hudson Park for a dose of live entertainment, game booths, crafts and more. Local veteran Sid Winchester said, "The parade was really great, people were out in big numbers and they were really appreciative of all the vehicles and parade participants. It was a great parade."
It was hosted by the Wakulla Christian School and the Wakulla County Veteran's Services Office. They say all of the proceeds from the event will go to support local veteran's programs.
