Tallahassee, FL - Searching for that first job after graduation can be tough.
That's why the state of Florida created "HireFloridaGrads.com" to aid in that effort.
We met three Florida State students who soon will be faced with the tough job market.
"I think it'll be tough, but I feel like I've been handed the right tools to move on and continue into the workforce right after school," Chris Varona said.
"I think it may be a little bit, but I wouldn't be as worried as I was three or four years ago if I was going to graduate," John Sullivan said.
Thomas Koch is a business major at FSU. He's optimistic about the job search.
"I heard it's a little bit tough, but you just have to keep up with it, just keep applying don't get yourself down if you don't get the job the first time," he said.
The process is simple. You log onto "HireFloridaGrads.com," fill out a questionnaire and when you're done - it teams you up with job employers that may be a good fit.
"It'll give people a place to start at least finding a job," Koch said.
Florida students who recently graduated are walking into a state unemployment rate of 7.2 percent, but that number has steadily been going down.
