Banking-giant Wells Fargo accidentally sent out an email to many of its customers claiming they were behind on mortgage payments.

A viewer sent us the e-mail which reads: "Your mortgage is significantly past due" and "Please understand we may begin foreclosure proceedings."

Wells-Fargo sent out follow-up emails to affected customers, apologizing for the mishap, which was blamed on a system error.
