Three Arrested in Valdosta for Robbery

Valdosta, GA - On Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Valdosta Police Department responded to 606 Randolph Street in reference to a robbery. When Valdosta Police Department Patrol Officers arrived, the victims reported that an unknown African American male forced entry into the residence and robbed them at gun point. Members of the Valdosta Police Department Person’s Crime Unit, Narcotics Unit, and Crime Scene Laboratory Personnel responded to the scene.
During the investigation approximately 173 grams of marijuana, with an approximate street value of $2,145.00, was located in the victim’s residence. Cherneko Fox, Jason West, and William Pierce were all arrested and charged with Felony-Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Narcotics Equipment. A person of interest was detained in reference to the robbery and was arrested on unrelated charges, but has not been charged with the robbery at this time.
The suspect’s name is not being released at this time, due to the on-going investigation. Detectives are still investigating leads concerning the robbery. There are additional charges pending against Fox, West, and Pierce.
