DECATUR, Ga. (AP) -- A man charged in the shooting death of a
professional wrestler who was working security at a night club is
set to appear in court.
DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish tells The Atlanta
Journal-Constitution that 31-year-old Ahmad Gill was set to have
his first appearance in court Friday afternoon or evening.
Police arrested Gill Wednesday and charged him in the death of
33-year-old Chris Long early Sunday while Long was working security
at the club.
Gill faces homicide and aggravated assault charges.
Witnesses say Long was shot after he and other security guards ordered three men to leave the club.
Long was a wrestler with Lucha Libre USA, a Mexico-based company that produces live events and television shows on MTV2.
