Thomasville, GA- The Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce is on a mission to help small businesses thrive.
The Chamber has started several programs to show their support, which include free educational workshops on everything from creative financing methods to how to use social media.
Brooks Woodward owns Nichols Lures in Thomasville.
Woodward makes handmade, made to order, bass fishing lures. He sells them locally and also ships to specialty outfitters nationwide.
He says the workshops are very helpful, especially when it comes to networking.
"It's really good to talk to other people about similar problems that we have; even if we're in completely different industries," Woodward said.
The Chamber is also working with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and SBDC to develop new programs to help our small business owners.
