Tallahassee, FL-October 20, 2012
A pretty big celebrity was in Tallahassee promoting President Obama's campaign.
Actress Gabrielle Union, famous for her roles in Bring it On and Love and Basketball stopped by FAMU on Saturday.
Union addressed dozens of students and stressed to them that every vote counts.
She also discussed some of Obama's policies and took questions from the crowd.
"If you believe in a woman's right to choose, if you believe in the basic civil rights of 100% of American citizens; this election is about you. If you're happy that Osama bin Laden is dead and the auto industry is alive; this election is about you," said Union. "We cannot afford to sit this one out."
Right after this event, students headed into the community to encourage others to make heading to the polls a priority next month.
