Valdosta, GA - The fourth annual Agape Love Banquet was held on Saturday night in Valdosta.

Agape means unconditional love which was the theme of the dinner. Every year the event has grown in size. This year there was roughly six hundred and fifty people that came from about thirty different churches. It began as a fundraiser for the Great Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. It has since grown into a community event centered around christian entertainment.

Owen Clemons is the Banquet Committee Chair. He said "we have gospel singing, praise dancing, modeling, a fashion session there. And we also have gospel comedy which is excellent."

The event was held at the Rainwater Conference Center. It had previously been at Mathis Auditorium but had to move to a larger venue to accomodate the crowds.
