Tallahassee, FL-October 20, 2012
Americans are finally seeing some relief at the gas pump.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas has fallen for more than ten days straight.
Right now, it's costing drivers $3.69 per gallon.
In Florida, the average price of a regular tank of gas has dropped more than seven cents, just within the past week.
Drivers in our area are hoping the trend continues.
"I think it's good for everybody," said Tallahassee resident, Travis Jones. "If the gas prices keep dropping, more people will be able to go to work, go out and look for jobs, and all that kind of stuff. It'll save a lot of money."
Experts say gasoline prices typically decline in the fall season.
That's when refiners switch to cheaper fuel blends and drivers take a break from summer road trips.
