For the past two years the annual Camellia show was canceled due to freezing temperatures but this year organizers found a way to stay out of the cold by moving indoors.
The event was held at the Thomasville Garden Center and organizers say more than one-hundred Camellias were entered into the judging stem. Camellia growers say they're happy the two year hiatus is over.
"We're here to display these gorgeous blooms for sharing with the public so people can see all the new varieties of
Camellias," said Show Chairman Pat Johnson.
Organizers say next year's show will move to the second week in February.
