Moultrie, GA- Alfonso Moore has made his initial appearance in court and has been denied bond. He will remain in the Colquitt County Jail.
Coolidge, GA- Twenty year-old Alfonso Moore was arrested around 9:00 p.m. Sunday, almost 48 hours after 57 year-old Dominga Trejo's body was found in a driveway along the back of the Regency Village Trailer Park in Moultrie.
"Our SWAT guys, along with the GBI and Moultrie Police Department were able to make the arrest in Coolidge. The Coolidge Police Department was there and the guy was taken into custody, without incident, and taken to the Colquitt County Jail," said Capt. Steve Jones with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
Moore is charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Investigators with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation say Moore allegedly hijacked Trejo's car and robbed her at a convenience store before shooting her and dumping her body.
Those who knew Moore said they're shocked.
"When you look at him, he looks so sweet and nice. He had a good personality, but you just never know," said neighbor Terry Bryant.
Agent Steve Turner with the GBI said Trejo's car was later found abandoned at a location in Coolidge. He also said at this time they do not believe Moore knew Trejo.
Moore's girlfriend, Daniesha Bell, is also charged with providing false statements in the case.
Moultrie, GA - November 12, 2012 - 12:15 pm - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reports that the Thomas County Sheriff's Office has arrested 20 year old Alfonso Moore of Coolidge, Georgia in the death of 57 year-old Dominga Trejo. The arrest was made last night around 9 pm at Moore's residence, located off of Stetson Avenue in Coolidge.
Moore is not believed to have known Trejo. At this time, police believe
Moore's motive was robbery.
Moore has been charged with Murder, Aggravated assault, Armed robbery, and Possession of firearm. He is now being held at the Thomas County jail.
The Armed Robbery happened between 7-8 pm Friday night in the parking lot of a Quick Mart convenience store off of 133 South in Moultrie.
Moore hijacked Trejo's vehicle then took her to the trailer park. Trejo was shot between the convenience store and trailer park.
The vehicle was abandoned early Saturday morning in Coolidge.

Moultrie, GA - November 11, 2012 - Investigators with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation say 57 year-old Dominga Trejo was found dead Friday night laying in a driveway at the Regency Village, a mobile home park in Moultrie.
According to the Colquitt County Coroner, Verlyn Brock, Trejo suffered multiple gun shot wounds to her upper body.
Residents of Regency Village are upset and shocked by the discovery of Trejo's body.
"I hope and pray they catch um and burn um, because nobody deserves something like that," said resident Lester Clayton who lives right around the corner from where Trejo's body was found.
Clayton also said this isn't the first time crime has struck their area.
"We got trailers that have been broken into," he said. "We have windows that've been broken out of empty trailers. We've got people riding down through here like there still out there on the highway."
As investigators from the GBI and Moultrie Police Department try to piece together the details of Trejo's death, people in the community say they're hearts go out to to her family.
We're also told Trejo was from Norman Park, Georgia and was not a resident of the Regency Village.
Investigators say at this time they do not have a suspect or motive and are working off of leads.

Moultrie, GA - November 10, 2012 - Police are investigating the apparent slaying of a woman in Moultrie, GA.
The body of Dominga Trejo, 57, of Norman Park, GA was found around 11 p.m. Friday night at the Regency Village Trailer Park in Moultrie.
Steve Turner of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the cause of death is unknown at this time. Turner says Trejo sustained trauma and injuries to her body that came from another person.
Authorities are not releasing a motive in the case and are following all leads. Trejo's car was stolen but later recovered by authorities.
