Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to smoke and fire coming from Slap Daddy's on Baytree Road.
An officer passing by noticed the roof on fire and immediately called the Valdosta Fire Department to assist.
They say the left side of the back door and and back walls were damaged by smoke.
Jason Guyton, the manager of Slap Daddy's, says, "Pretty much what they did was pour gas on the wall itself and strung a line of gas along the parking lot and lit the line of gas, which caught the gas can on fire that they were using,"
Police have no suspects at this and the damage is estimated at around $2,000.
