Associated Press Release
ATLANTA (AP) -- Residents in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood are meeting to discuss how to stop thieves who have become known as the "pillowcase bandits."
CBS Atlanta reports that residents came together Thursday night at Northside Presbyterian Church for a meeting with Atlanta police to discuss their concerns.
Authorities say that in many of the robberies, thieves filled up pillowcases with people's valuables. Police say in many of the burglaries, homeowners did not set their alarms or left windows and doors unlocked.
