Michael White was at the South Regional Library in Valdosta Wednesday demonstrating to children how to bring pictures to life through airbrushing.

White says not everyone starts off like a DaVinci, but getting your ideas down on paper is a start.

"All these things that are in a library, all these picture books and novels started out with an idea," says White. "It's a very empowering thing when they know one of their ideas could be a big book."

White is the illustrator of "Library Dragon" and "Harry's Horrible Hair Day."
