Julian Reever, recently escaped from Thomas County Prison has been apprehended and is now back in custody. He was caught at around 11:15 tonight, a quarter of a mile inside Grady County.
Julian Reever, originally from Albany is a prisoner at Thomas County Prison. He was doing work detail this afternoon along Maddox Rd. between the towns of Ochlocknee and Thomasville in Thomas County, Georgia. He fled from the work detail group at 3:43 pm, heading West in to the heavily wooded, low-lying area next to the road.
K9 Units and Air Support were sent to try to apprehend him. He took off in to the Southwest corner of Thomas County. Thomas County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia State Patrol, the Georgia Department of Corrections, and the Southwest Georgia Fugitive Task Force all worked to apprehend Reever and are continuing to investigate.
