Two Vehicles Stolen During Local Burglary, Investigation Underway

Thomasville, Georgia- August 15, 2012

A burglary investigation is underway after two cars, among other belongings were stolen from a Thomasville home.

Homeowner Al Wight says, sometime during the early morning hours of Aug. 13 someone entered his home.

The house is located along the 900 block of Dawson Street.

Wight says he, his wife, and their two dogs somehow slept through the break-in.

Thomaville police are now investigating, as they try to recover the many items taken from the house.

"We do know that there was a flat screen tv taken, a silver platter was taken, also some cell phones. Two vehicles were also taken, a lincoln town car and another vehicle," said Lt. Eric Hampton with the Thomasville Police Department.

Police have no suspects at this time. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 229- 227- 3305 or the Criminal Investigations Division at 229-227-3302.
