Officials say everything is coming together for the City of Cairo's Christmas Parade tonight (12/2).

They say the parade, which is sponsored by the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce, as well as local businesses, is a family-friendly event where people can feel safe bringing their children.

Volunteers say they love working on the event because it brings so much joy to so many.

Local schools, churches, and businesses worked to create the floats for the event.

Officials say the parade will start at 7 o'clock tonight in front of the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce building and travel along Broad Street.
