Thomasville, GA- Breast cancer survivors in our area are hitting the catwalk to raise money for a good cause.
Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville will host "A Pink Affair" Friday night.
It's a breast cancer benefit fashion show which features more than 20 breast cancer survivors modeling clothes donated from local clothing stores.
Jean Hathway and Deb Bennett are mother and daughter and both are breast cancer survivors. They say it feels great to be in the fashion show and be on the other side of cancer.
"To be at the point that both of us are now, means that we're finally getting in control of our lives again and we are on the road to recovery," said Hathaway.
Proceeds from "A Pink Affair" will go to a newly created Archbold Foundation fund which will cover the cost for mammograms for those people who are unable to afford one.
