Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Lowndes deputies pulled over Rusty Rudd, 24 and Aleshia Marinaro, 29, for speeding on Carroll Ulmer Road, according to Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine.
When officers searched their vehicle, they say they found methamphetamine and equipment used to make the drug.
Deputies say Rudd and Marinaro are charged with manufacturing meth, and Rudd is also charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license and violating his probation.
They're being held at the Lowndes County jail.
