JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) -- A Clayton County juvenile court judge has
ordered a teenager to create a memorial to a toddler who died in a
hot van outside a Jonesboro day care center.

Authorities said 2-year-old Jazmin Green died June 20 after
being left in a hot van outside Marlo's Magnificent Early Learning
Center in Jonesboro after a field trip.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/ooWGKe)
that Judge Steven Teske on Monday ordered the 16-year-old girl to
create a memorial to be displayed in a government location where it
would be protected and seen by the public. The teen had been
charged with cruelty to children, reckless conduct and involuntary
manslaughter.

The teenager, whose name was withheld because she's a juvenile,
also was sentenced to two years' probation and 40 hours of
community service.
