The US Department of Justice says more than 2,000 children go missing in this country each day. An event tomorrow may help change that.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the annual 'DNA Lifeprint Child Safety' day at Flowers Nissan tomorrow (11/6) in Thomasville.
Organizers say the purpose of the event is to give families the opportunity to create an up-to-date profile to give to authorities if their child ever goes missing.
Each participant will receive an FBI-certified fingerprint profile, digital photo, home DNA kit, and a safety journal.
