Valdosta, GA - Workers for The City plan to carry on business as usual, despite the cooler temps. The end of the holiday season means decorations have to come down and Christmas trees have to be mulched, and even with the colder weather, John L. Whitehead, Deputy City Manager for Operations with The City of Valdosta says, the show must go on.

"During the cold weather, we ask employees to dress in layers. We ask that they take frequent breaks, limit their exposure to the elements. Depending on the weather and the temperatures, such as today and tomorrow, with tomorrow probably being the coldest day, it will be business as usual."

He says The City plans to continue all services throughout the cold spell, though it may take a little longer to do so.
