Atlanta, GA (AP) - Governor-elect Nathan Deal has added a gala at
Phillips Arena in downtown Atlanta and a prayer service to his list
of inaugural events.

The Deal team announced Friday that Jan. 10, the day of his
inauguration, will start with a prayer service at 9 a.m. at Mount
Paran Church of God in Atlanta.

The inauguration ceremony at the state Capitol is set for 2
p.m., followed by an invitation-only gala at 7:30 p.m. The gala
will feature Georgia musical acts, though no names were given.

The celebration will start Jan. 8 with a day of service
featuring 17 volunteer opportunities throughout the state.

Inauguration spokesman Harris Blackwood says all events are
being paid for with private money.

Question-Does the inaugural events cost the tax payers any money or is from contributions?
