Decatur County Sheriff's Office Sgt Singleton Dies

Decatur County Sheriff's Sgt Steve Singleton died on Tuesday (2/1) afternoon.

Preliminary information released by Sheriff's Captain Liz Croley stated that he was at his home in Climax Tuesday afternoon. Captain Crowley stated Steve was playing basketball with his kids when the incident occurred.

Heroic life saving measures were taken by first responders and EMS as he was rushed to the hospital, but were unsuccessful.

Sgt Steve Singleton was 38.

    What exactly wasthe incident that led to his death?? the article did not say, and the newspaper said there would be an autopsy why??? Is anyone trying to investigate it??
