The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says it's reviewing employee complaints at the Lowndes County Animal Shelter.

Earlier this year, the Georgia Department of Agriculture cited the shelter for not providing humane care.

Go search for more information, it is out there. This all seems to be pointing to a lack of management's ability to make sure that the animals get seen by a vet in a timely manner (sometimes not for days). Go look for more info, it's out there and easy to find, and you don't have to wait.
