Election officials working at the Decatur County Fair Grounds voting precinct say they've had some rushes of voters throughout the day, but the overall turnout has been disappointing.

"It's been fair, but not as well as we'd like for it to be," said Janelle Nelson, a Decatur County precinct manager, "As of now, it's around 1 o'clock and we've only had 70 voters. "We should have more than that. It's just a slow runoff and people aren't coming out doing their duty."

Nelson predicted more voters would come out to the polls when they get off work.
