The state ethics commission has reached agreements with Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal regarding three ethics complaints filed against him over the 2010 gubernatorial campaign.

Deal will have to pay $3,350 after admitting to "technical defects" in multiple campaign finance disclosure reports from his 2010 campaign. A commission investigation that was prompted by a complaint filed by George Anderson in October 2010 found 53 violations, each punishable by a $50 fine.

Another complaint, filed in October 2010 by Kimberlyn Carter, alleged Deal accepted campaign donations that exceeded limits for political contributions. Deal refunded $130,000 of those contributions before the election.

The commission dismissed two complaints against Deal, saying the allegations raised were either addressed in other complaints or didn't rise to the level of a violation.
