Villa Rica, GA (AP) - Authorities say a father who struck and
killed his infant daughter while backing out of his driveway will
not be charged in her death.

Georgia State Patrol officials say 20-year-old Anthony Evans was
leaving his Villa Rica home Saturday morning and thought his
22-month-old daughter Alyssa Evans was inside with her mother.
Officials said the child ran toward her father's car and was hit.

She was taken to Tanner Medical Center, where doctors could not
revive her. The girl was the family's only child.

Authorities say the collision has been determined to be
accidental.
