Adel, Georgia - June 7, 2011
Diggity Dogs in downtown Adel is closed after its roof flew off during Monday night's storm.
Over a year ago, the popular restaurant was converted from a 1940s gas station to a hot dog and hamburger joint.
"It's not all about the food," says Jerry Connell with the Cook County Chamber of Commerce. "Though, the food is fantastic. It's about the sense of community that we have because Diggity Dogs is here and is where everybody comes together."
Diggity Dogs is expected to reopen within the next two weeks.
