Valdosta - Sam's Bar-B-Q in Valdosta spent their Turkey Day feeding the needy. For the 7th year in a row, anyone and everyone was welcome to Sam's for a home style Thanksgiving dinner. Guests also got the opportunity to pick up some winter clothes that were donated by the community. Co-owner Margo Watts says, it's all about giving back.
"This is the time of year when we want to give back in our community. It's the time when we get together with our friends and family with fellowship and we just love one another and help the less fortunate. It's the time when everyone should give and donate and just have a good time."
Remarion Jenkins, a guest of Sam's Bar-B-Q says he had a great day with family.
"We came to have turkey, dressing, and ham. We also got a new shirt!"
Last year Sam's Bar-B-Q saw 375 guests. They're hoping to see just as many, if not more this year.
