Bainbridge, GA- Five people have been arrested in connection to a multi-million dollar drug trafficking ring.
Bainbridge Public Safety and the Drug Enforcement Administration made the arrests Thursday morning in Bainbridge.
The five suspects are facing federal drug charges in connection with the 2011 Johnson Drug Trafficking Organization, which runs through Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
Frank Green, the Deputy Director for Bainbridge Public Safety said, "They have been federally indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base, and cocaine base being crack cocaine."
Green says so far, they have recovered more than 30 kilograms of cocaine from this investigation.
The five suspects are now being held at a federal court in Albany.
