Hazel Moon started the Jack Reid Memorial Foundation to help individuals struggling with addiction, and social problems. One of the groups her foundation helps are veterans who have fallen on tough times.
Moon says the Mustard Seed House is a resource center that will open at the end of the year, and it will give homeless and struggling veterans a place to get their lives back together.
Moon says her inspiration comes from a counselor who helped her conquer her own struggles over 8 years ago.
She says his spirit drives her projects, including the Mustard Seed House.
